This Sunday morning, September 6, our Hilldale family will embark on a month long journey together.  The focus of our journey will be on the many facets of how the body of Christians that meet at Hilldale cares for one another, and those outside our body.

Our journey during the month of September will include sermons based around our theme of “Hilldale Cares” and will be interwoven with themed activities, challenges, and events.  We hope that during September you will use the hashtag #hilldalecares to post photos on social media from our events, activities, and challenges and spread messages of joy, hope, and love.

This Sunday morning not only will we introduce and focus on the idea of “Hilldale Cares,” but we will also join forces in helping children around the world by being part of the M.A.G.I. Project with Healing Hands International.  Make sure to be at worship with us this Sunday at 10:00 AM so you can learn all about this wonderful service project.  If you would like to get a sneak peak into what the M.A.G.I. Project is all about visit Healing Hands International’s website at https://www.hhi.org/magi.

Sunday night at 5:00 PM we will be showing our love, support, and how much we CARE about one another through our Bible class.  We have started a series entitled “Struggling Together” based on James 5:16 which reads, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” Each Sunday night a different speaker will hold a discussion and Bible study on a “struggle” they have in their own life. We hope that this will prove to be a time in which we are able to strengthen our relationships with each other and with God.

We hope that you will be an active part of everything that we have going on this month!
